Upcoming Worship October 2020

After our season in the Gospel of Matthew, primarily spending time with Jesus in His Passion, His Crucifixion, His Resurrection, we will spend October and the first week of November considering how then we shall respond to our world. How then shall we live? We shall live by following in the footsteps of our Savior. We shall serve humbly. We shall be willing to sacrifice.

Additionally, as a people saved by grace, we shall love God with our whole being and our neighbor as we love ourselves. Acknowledging that Christ died for our sins, we will confess our sins to Him, and we will acknowledge His death is sufficient to save us from our sins.

We acknowledge that Christ’s life is now our life. The rooster’s crow could have left us in the shame and despair that sin brings with it. However, we have a new life in Christ because of the Father’s grace and mercy. Led by the Holy Spirit, we will now be the ones who crow about God’s love. We will now pursue a life of holiness, and a life filled with good works that call others into a relationship of Christ. We will seek to bring people into a relationship with Christ and to disciple them in His Way.
