Our Evangelism Ministry is a front leader for our church, dedicated to using communication and outreach tools as well as ideas and events.

We exist to reach the people of this world, of this community, for Christ Jesus.

In Our Community

Serving in our community is an important part of who we are at St. John’s. Our desire is to show the love of Christ to Kenton, Hardin County, and surrounding areas by meeting the various needs of our community. There are many areas of opportunity for you to be involved in and to fulfill the God-given, unique desire of your heart to live a life of purpose. For more information and to learn how you can volunteer in the Kenton community, please let us know how we can plug you in.

Our Missions Ministry follows the challenges and victories of the missionaries we support and helps them in every way possible. We spread God’s word around the world by giving financial help to people willing to travel and teach. Many of these people actually live in countries where they teach! Serving is a major part of our strategy to Know Jesus, Grow with each other and Serve the world.

Mission of the Month:

July – Fairhaven Life Enrichment Fund

Upper Sandusky, OH:
Since 1916, Fairhaven Community has maintained a tradition of providing compassionate health care and senior living services in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.

August – Silent Night Bed Ministry

Silent Night Bed Ministry began after a Youth Mission Trip where the mission team built beds for children in Belize who never had beds before. The team soon learned that this is not an isolated problem, as we have children in our very own community who are sleeping on floors and couches every night. So the church started raising money to build beds locally and have managed to supply beds to children throughout Hardin County by working together with local agencies to help those in need.

If you would like to help build beds or make blankets for the beds, please contact the church office at 419-673-7278 or for more information. We also need help delivering beds periodically so if you would be like to be on a contact list, please turn Thank you for your support!
