Preaching Series February
Preaching Series These are indeed strange and wonderful times. As we move from Epiphany to Lent, some things may seem familiar as we return to worship in the sanctuary. Some things, will be very different. For instance, Ash Wednesday will not include Payne Chapel this year. Their denomination has asked them to keep worship only online, so if they join us, it will only be online. Rev. D’Eborah Chapman has asked me to preach at a joint online service 21 March at 3 pm in the afternoon. Details will come. It will be an opportunity to join together in worship and to share our heart for a brighter tomorrow.
We have a lot for which to labor to create a more just nation and world. There are wounds and divides that need to be healed. Only God can provide that healing, but He calls upon His people to apply the salve as they bring a message of hope and redemption.
With Christ, there is always hope—hope for the sinner set free and hope for the broken to be restored. May we build up and not tear down in this season.
