Pastor Randall Forester

Senior Pastor

419-673-7278

The cowboy preacher, as many know Pastor Randall because he is often found wearing a cowboy hat and boots, is also known as the man in black as that is most often the color he wears.  As the song “Man in Black” says: “I wear the black for the poor and the beaten down, Livin’ in the hopeless, hungry side of town….I wear the black for those who never read, Or listened to the words that Jesus said, About the road to happiness through love and charity, Why, you’d think He’s talking straight to you and me.”  Pastor Randall has been afforded the opportunity to have studied at some great institutions, which has opened many doors for him, but his heart has always to be a pastor and to help people grow in faith.  Originally from Western Pennsylvania, he has made his home in Hardin Kenton with his family since early in 2015.

He is excited to serve St. John’s Evangelical Church as senior pastor and to support the church as it fulfills its Spirit-given mission of Making and Maturing Disciples of Jesus Christ.”  “St. John’s has a history of growing strong Christians, serving the community, and living as missionaries.  All those things have been hallmarks of my ministry, and I see us growing in faith together for years to come,” said Pastor Randall.  He looks forward to getting to know you too whether you have been a lifelong member of St. John’s, new to our church, or simply seeking your way in this world.
