St. John’s Family Ministry

Evangelism

Our Evangelism Ministry is a front leader for our church, dedicated to using communication and outreach tools as well as ideas and events. We exist to reach the people of this world, of this community, for Christ Jesus.

In Our Community

Serving in our community is an important part of who we are at St. John’s. Our desire is to show the love of Christ to Kenton, Hardin County, and surrounding areas by meeting the various needs of our community. There are many areas of opportunity for you to be involved in and to fulfill the God-given, unique desire of your heart to live a life of purpose. For more information and to learn how you can volunteer in the Kenton community, please let us know how we can plug you in.

Mission of the Month — Gideons

Gideons International distributes Bibles and New Testaments around the world. Having God’s Word can and does lead people to faith in Christ, and those new Christians then grow by stud-ying their Scriptures and even use them to share their faith with others.

For this reason, they focus on distributing complete Bibles, New Testaments, or portions thereof. These copies of God’s Word are printed in more than 90 languages and are either given directly to certain individuals or placed in selected public locations where large numbers of people, who may be search-ing for answers, will have the ability to encounter the Word of God.
