Community Thanksgiving Meal
The Community Thanksgiving Dinner, sponsored by Helping Hands Outreach will be held Thanksgiving Day, November 28 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at St. John’s Evangelical Church Fellowship Hall. Anyone is welcome to come eat at no charge.
Help is needed for people to cook and debone turkeys that have been donated (turkey can be picked up at Helping Hands Outreach on Monday, November 25 at 6:30 p.m.) also there will be hams to bake also that can be picked up at the same time as turkeys. We also need people to donate mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, dinner rolls, pumpkin pie, apple pie, cherry pie, or angel food cake. We also need people to deliver meals to the home bound, kitchen help serving and clean up. If you are interested in helping with any of these things there is a sign up sheet on the credenza in the back of the sanctuary.
So if you are going to be alone on Thanksgiving Day, come join us for a Thanksgiving Meal. Blessing to all. If you have any questions, please see Heather Erwin or Jo Ann Erwin.
