The Carl Lotz Scholarship was set up as a result of an amazing gift to St John’sEvangelical Church. Funds were set aside to pay for scholarships to St John’s church membersfurthering their education. January 30 @ 11:00 am The Annual Congregational Meeting has been set for Sunday, January 30, in the sanctuary following the service beginning approximately at 11:00 am. Mark your calendar and plan on attending. Any questions, please email or call the office at 419-673-7278.
Watch for Date Change A Mental Health First Aid Training was scheduled to be held here on Saturday, January 22 in the fellowship hall. They are trying to change the date so the training can be split over 2 shorter sessions. They are hoping to do it on March 26 and April 2. The ONU
The next Choir practice will be Wednesday, February 2 at 7 pm and will sing Sunday, February 6. All are welcome! They have practice at 7 pm the Wednesday before the first Sunday of each month. Please see Dave Beazley with questions.
Volunteers needed to un-decorate the church On January 9 following the service, we will be taking down the Christmas decoration and putting them away. Please plan on staying to help out.
A family needs help paying a funeral bill. If you are able to help, please make checks payable to: Price McElroy Funeral Home and in the memo write St. John’s Church. They will also accept cash. Donations can be dropped off at the church office or Price McElroy Funeral Home.
Christmas Eve Service December 24 at 8 pm This year, the service will be a little different than in recent years. This evening will be narrated by God and include the children’s choir and youth members leading various parts of the service. Come back with us to a simpler time as we remember the Christmas
Next Sunday, November 14, we will be blessed by the UF Traveling Worship Team as they will lead the music. Let’s give them a warm welcome!
